EI-EI Smart Spark program (Early Identification-Early Intervention program)
“Justice delayed is justice denied”
Each child is different from the other-they have different needs, values, aspirations, learning style and attention; strengths and weaknesses.
All children deserve a strong start to life. Yet far too many children lack the opportunity for quality education, healthy lives – and futures. The levels of ability in children vary immensely, and unless practitioners are equipped to manage this diversity and are skilled in laddering activities, many young children risk facing the possibility of exclusion and needing more serious levels of intervention and support later on.
Many ECD teachers and care givers lack the skills necessary for early identification and intervention for young children experiencing barriers to learning and development. CHILD Foundation partner with schools and Ministry of Education through the Educational Assessment and Resource Centers (EARCs) to provide effective identification and referral support/interventions to learners with disabilities.
