On-Call Private Dining Servers must be familiar with various alcoholic beverages and can organize multiple orders. They are accountable for taking food and beverage orders and carrying out all other responsibilities as directed. The position requires individuals to stand and walk for long periods and carry heavy trays of drinks through crowded areas. The hours for this position vary.

Essential Duties

• Work with bar staff to ensure work areas are stocked with glasses, drink mixes, garnishments, and alcoholic beverages.
• Greet members and guests, provide information, and offer suggestions.
• Ensure members and guests feel comfortable and monitor their experiences throughout their stay in the Club or event. 
• Anticipate and respond to members' and guests’ needs. 
• Continuously circulate through the work area throughout the shift
• Remove glasses and dishes from tables
• Attends pre-service meetings and/or training.
• Learns the menu and adequately uses the payment system.
• Assist other servers and staff as needed.

Education and Experience

• Prior restaurant/banquet experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English, preferred
• Working knowledge of cocktail tray service, basic food service, responsible alcohol service, drink recipes and garnishments, and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to interact with guests in a positive and safety-minded manner.
• TABC certification
• Food Safety certification

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, stand, walk for long periods, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Occasionally required to lift 20 pounds.
