Are you a strategic, hands-on supply chain leader ready to make an impact? We’re searching for a Purchasing Manager to join a growing manufacturing team in the Cadillac area. What You’ll Do

As Purchasing Manager, you’ll be the key driver of sourcing strategy and supplier performance.

You’ll:

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Manage solicitations, RFQs, long-term agreements, and supplier negotiations.
• Oversee government material purchases while ensuring FAR & DFAR compliance .
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast material needs to maintain production continuity.
• Lead supplier development, performance evaluations, and risk management.
• Support internal and external audits with detailed procurement documentation.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives that reduce costs, improve lead times, and strengthen supply resilience.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of purchasing/supply chain experience, ideally in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, negotiations, and supplier management.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High-level analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10% (domestic and international).

Preferred but not required:

• CPSM, APICS, or CSCP certification.
• Cost analysis or manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of government procurement compliance.
