Better Inclusive Education for ALL Without Limits

CHILD Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of children with disabilities. Our mission is to empower parents, educational professionals, schools, and communities to better support these children.

We advocate for the rights and educational needs of learners facing psychosocial challenges, learning difficulties, and intellectual disabilities in both public and private schools. Our initiatives include promoting early identification and intervention strategies, training educators in inclusive education practices, and providing crucial psychological support to children and their families.

At CHILD Foundation, we are committed to improving educational quality by fostering early literacy skills, promoting disability-friendly school environments, and offering mental wellness services and mentorship programs to children, regardless of ability. Through our efforts, we aim to raise public awareness about social inclusion and ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive academically, professionally, and personally. Our philosophy centers on leaving no child behind, empowering all to succeed in school, work, and life.

EI-EI Smart Spark program (Early Identification-Early Intervention program) “Justice delayed is justice denied” Each child is different from the other-they have different needs, values, aspirations, learning style and attention; strengths and weaknesses. All children deserve a strong start to life. Yet far too many children lack the opportunity for quality education, healthy lives – and futures. The levels of ability in children vary immensely, and unless practitioners are equipped to manage this diversity and are skilled in laddering activities, many young children risk facing the possibility of exclusion and needing more serious levels of intervention and support later on. Many ECD teachers and care givers lack the skills necessary for early identification and intervention for young children experiencing barriers to learning and development. CHILD Foundation partner with schools and Ministry of Education through the Educational Assessment and Resource Centers (EARCs) to provide effective identification and referral support/interventions to learners with disabilities.
